Are you looking for a fun way to volunteer, visit exciting art galleries and play productions around Atlanta, and gain leadership experience?

Consider joining the Fine Arts Society at ASC!

Our first meeting will be on Wednesday, January 25 at 5:30 PM in the Dana Fine Arts Building, Room 101.  Enjoy free glazed donuts, natural cheetos, take a study break, and come and hear about our coming trip to the High Museum of Art, on Saturday January 28th at 6:45 PM among other activities.  We will be traveling as a group using MARTA.

Current Agenda for the Semester:

  1. To support the Dalton Gallery by providing a team of students to help facilitate and market the gallery’s functions.
  2. To support the Black Friar’s productions by providing a team of students to provide supplemental volunteer time as set constructers, costume designers, and marketing personnel.
  3. To provide a social scene at ASC where artists and performers across different mediums can regularly meet, encourage each other’s artistic endeavors, and have fun!
  4. In addition, we will also be visiting theatre and arts events around Atlanta throughout the year!

Possible trips include:

  1. College Night at the High!
  2. The Shakespeare Tavern in Atlanta
  3. Alliance theatre productions

We are looking for a talented crew in different areas who want to be a part of a dedicated team to support and foster the arts at ASC and beyond! Musicians, artists, dancers, writers, and actors are all welcome and encouraged to join, but no experience is necessary!
